Jodi Bowser has been a member of MBN for over eight years. She is currently a member of the Synergy Board and has served on the board in an official capacity for two years. She has been an unofficial sounding board for the Synergy Board as far back as when Kim Gibbs was president, offering advice and assistance on numerous projects where her professional expertise has been vital.
She and her husband have been in business for 25 years. They originally started as a franchise and upon completion of their contract went independent 10 years ago. They have two children, a son Brett, 25, who is with the Army Special Forces and their daughter Whitney, 21 a junior at the University of Puget Sound.
She has been involved with the Missoula Women's Jaycees, a group that supports a number of organizations in our community: two Little League teams, BASH, Relay for Life, a variety of other sports groups, the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership organization, and the Missoula Food Bank. She is also currently a member of National Association of Quick Printers and the Garden City chapter of Business Network International.
This member is an unsung hero, who quietly works behind the scenes. She has volunteered and worked on the Women's Symposium for the past three years and has done a variety of projects at cost, below cost, or at no cost, in order to help our organization. She assists MBN members by creating, editing, improving, and, in general, making the website, newsletter, and directory ads look professional, polished, and legible in all of our various advertising media.
This award recipient mentioned to me how much MBN means to her and stated that she has gained strength, support, insight, and, most of all friendships, from the Missoula Businesswomen's Network. She plans on being an active member for a long time.
