2006 Businesswoman of the Year
Kathy M. Schulte is employed by Farmers State Bank as a Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer. She has been in the banking and real estate industry in the Missoula area for over 30 years. She is a graduate of the University of Montana and holds a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance. In addition to banking, Kathy has been real estate trainer and CE Instructor for the State of Montana.
Kathy has a strong commitment to her community by being an active member of several organizations. She is currently President of Kilkenny Corporation, a non-profit constructing 40 units of low-income senior housing.
She is immediate Past President of the Missoula Businesswomen’s Network and was able to bring the 1st Annual Women’s Symposium to Missoula in February 2006. She was named Businesswoman of the Year in 2006 by the Missoula Businesswomen’s Network. She is a current member of the Missoula Rotary Club and has been involved in many boards and community activities over her professional career.
Kathy is married to Bob Schulte. She has two grown children. Jesse Mann is a captain in the United States Army and is currently working as a Blackhawk Helicopter Pilot stationed in Iraq. He and his wife, Meghann have one daughter, Sydney, age two. Jodi Englund and her husband, Jake, live in Missoula. Jodi is a nursing student at Salish Kootenai College and will graduate with her RN and Bachelor’s Degree in June 2008.
