2014-2015 MBN History

The 2014-2015 Synergy Board guided the organization through meetings, events, and the evolution of the organization. The theme for the year was " ‘Women Supporting Women."


The 2014 Fall Social was on November 5, 2014 at the Missoula International Airport where members received a tour of the security/emergency/police forces and had time in the old tower.Visiting the airport firetruck

Our annual Women's Symposium was held on.January 24, 2015 at the Hilton Garden Inn. For more detail see the MBN Magazine.

The Women's Symposium Committee ran the entire event with the help of the Synergy Board and volunteer members. The committee members were:

In March 2015 Kimberly Kinsinger was elected President-Elect. To learn more about the nomination criteria for President-Elect, click here.

The 2015 Businesswoman of the Year was Miranda Ming. To learn more about this award, click here.

The Spring Social was held on April 16, at the Lolo Peak Brewery; Community Room.

No Retreat was held in 2015.

Our general meetings for the 2014-2015 year were held at the Doubletree Hotel (Edgewater) in Missoula on the second Wednesday of the month from noon to one p.m. For the first time lunch sponsorships were available to members and non-members to help keep the cost of lunch low.

November: Suzette Dussault with the Jennifer Rankin story.
December:  Barb Neilan, Destination Missoula; Generating more income for our economy.
January: CPA, Tax changes that will affect small businesses.
February: Shannon Hahn
March: Professional clothing drive for Women in Need, voting for President Elect, and networking.
