This year's recipient, like many in MBN, is so amazing! She moved to Montana in 2009, and she quickly developed a strong clientele and became active in the community. She was a board member for the Missoula Community Foundation, serving as a strategic planning facilitator. For MBN, she has been on the Symposium Committee, spoken at symposiums, and received a Flying High award a few years ago. In addition, she is a member of the Missoula Estate Planning Council and owns her own business, all while raising three kids, including a set of twins.
This woman has more than twenty years of practicing law. She graduated from Loyola University Law School in 1994 (ironic, since her kids attended Loyola High School) and worked for two practices before opening up her own firm in 2001 in Wisconsin. While in Wisconsin, she served on various community and professional organizations, including as a board member for the Lake Geneva Chamber of Commerce and the Walworth County Estate Planning Council.
When she moved to Montana, she joined a firm, but quickly grew her following and started her own firm in 2013.
Personally, I have witnessed and been recipient to her gracious, knowledgeable, and caring ways, including helping with documents when my son was born, as well as some business and land matters. Congratulations Joanne!
