Meet the 2007 - 2008 Synergy Board

Executive Board

Anne Jablonski is the President of MBN and a Realtor with Windermere Real Estate. She represents Buyers and Sellers in their residential and commercial real estate transactions. She first heard about MBN in the early 90's while living up in the Mission Valley and looked forward to joining the group when she moved to Missoula. She has volunteered her services to MBN for a number of years  starting first by assisting Sarah Raymond, who was then the Editor of the Synergy Newsletter. She  has been closely involved with the last two annual Women's Symposium's and looks forward to helping organize the 2009 event too. Anne likes how MBN fosters relationship building and sharing of knowledge.

Frankie Flaherty is the Past President of MBN and the President of Flaherty Financial Services, Inc., a company she started in 2001.  She has been in the financial services industry since 1992.  She works with clients in the areas of financial planning, investments and insurance.  She has served on numerous non-profit boards in Missoula over the last twenty years and has a strong belief in giving back to the community.  She is starting her fifth year on the MBN Synergy board as past president.  She loves MBN because of the many wonderful women she had met over the years!


Deirdre Flaherty is the President Elect  and has worked with Flaherty Financial Services, Inc. since 2003 as a financial planner and investment advisor.  She has served on the MBN board for five years now in various positions.  Deirdre has served on the board for Soroptimists of Missoula, Relay for Life, her Home Owners association, and the Fiesta for Flagship committee.  She volunteers at her church, for MCT, and for the food bank.

Michelle Allen is the Treasurer and a Real Estate Loan Officer with Mountain West Bank for purchases or refinances on homes or investment properties. She joined MBN in 2006 and is inspired by the positive energy and eagerness to help other members that women in MBN exhibit.

Sydney Carlino is the Secretary

A native of Miles City, Montana, Sydney spent several years in the Midwest as a mechanical design engineer in the automotive industry.  In 2003, she transitioned to a career in financial services.  Sydney enjoys spending time with her husband, Dan Carlino, and their large extended family.  She also has a real soft spot for children, and devotes much of her volunteer time to children’s charities.  She is an active member of Missoula Businesswomen’s Network, Grant Creek Kiwanis, and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.

Barb Pulley is the Co-chair of the Women in Personal Finance Subnetwork.  Barbara, one of the original member of Missoula Businesswomen's Network, is from Northeastern Montana, a UM graduate and a CPA.   


As a member of the Montana Society of CPA's she services on the state taxation committee, which advises and reviews the Montana Legislatures proposed tax bills and the Montana Department of Revenue.  She and her husband, Dave, have two children, 3+ grandchildren.


Christine Johnson is the Advertising Chairperson. She joined MBN in 2006. She loves MBN because it has amazing women who have great talents and passion. She loves being able to meet successful women from all different professions.

Maryann Hubbard is the Special Events/Social Chair, and an Independent Consultant with Arbonne International, a Swiss health, wellness, and skin care company. Maryann joined MBN in 2005, and what she loves about the group is that you can get information, leadership, training, support and above all, friendship all from this great group of women!

Jodi Bowser is the Print Media Advisor and owns Pyramid Printing. Her business handles printing for all of your business and personal needs plus desktop publishing, coiling and binding. She’s been in MBN for ten years and likes the the camaraderie and sharing with other women their challenges and successes.

Sally Cannata is the Directory Editor. She has been a member of MBN for several years and has assisted with the directory, newsletter, and co-chaired a subnetwork group.  A few years ago, Sally opened her own Real Estate Appraisal Practice and also operates a guest cabin at Georgetown Lake. As a new mom, she is discovering the fine balance work and family life.  She is constantly inspired by MBN women pursuing their dreams.

  Becky Hughes is the Historian. Her business is Burnich Frame & Moulding, a wholesale manufacturer and distributor of architectural and picture frame moulding. She joined MBN in 1994 and later became President. The attitudes the women bring to MBN are wonderful. Becky benefits in ways she never expected.

Lois McElravy, Lessons from Lois is the MBN Public Relations Director. Lois is a professional keynote speaker, trainer, Toastmaster and a member of National Speakers Association. An MBN member for almost five years and serving on the Synergy board for four years, Lois has received numerous awards from MBN, including the MBN 2008 Women of the Year. What Lois loves about MBN: MBN has provided her with leadership experiences, meaningful relationships, mentoring, emotional support and opportunities to build her speaker business. Plus MBN women are FUN!

Tristin Flint is the Co-chair of the Business Skills Sub-network. She is also the President of Computer ER, which helps businesses achieve growth through cost-effective, managed IT services. She’s been in MBN for nearly two years and joined to help her business grow and has valued the friendships she has made. Deborah Derrick Gass is the Website Technology Director. She works for the Missoula Workforce Center where she provides employment law and human resource consulting to local businesses. She’s been in MBN for seven years. MBN gives her a place to learn, grow and discover new things about herself every month surrounded by people who truly want the best for her.


Sub Network Leaders

Kinzie Kinzel is the Co-chair of the Business Referral Sub-network. She is a producer for Faulkner Insurance and has been in MBN for two years. She loves that MBN fosters relationships between businesswomen in Missoula.
Stephanie Lambert is the Co-chair of the Business Referral Sub-network as well as the Marketing Chairperson for this year’s Symposium. She and her husband own Lambert Family Chiropractic, which focuses on not only pain management care but also wellness care for the entire family. Stephanie also owns luella Design. It is a full service graphic design business.  She has learned so many things from the women of MBN in regards to importance of balancing family and business life.
  DeDe Adams will be co-chairing the Bitterroot Business Referral Subnetwork. She is the owner of Montana Basket Bistro,  Montana gourmet baskets for your business and personal gift giving. This is her first time serving on the MBN board.

Patti Weeda will be co-chairing the Bitterroot Business Referral Subnetwork. Patti is a

retired paralegal, real estate.  She belongs to several community organizations and is a   member of the Bitterroot Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Connie Slagle is the Co-chair of the Business Skills Subnetwork. She is the owner of Destination Organization and works with homeowners and small businesses delivering proven methodologies equipping them for organizational success.  She is a member of the National Organization of Professional Organizers, Missoula Businesswomen's Network and the Missoula Chamber of Commerce. Connie motivates and inspires others to get organized and stay organized to live more balanced lives.

Meredith McAffee is the Co-chair of the Business Skills Subnetwork. She works at Title Services, Inc. in the escrow department and handles the disbursement of funds. In 2007 she added marketing duties to the job, and began organizing various events and joining networking groups. She joined MBN at that time, and immediately felt welcomed by this group of wonderful women. When the opportunity to co-chair the Business Skills Sub-Networking group, I jumped at it, and I’m looking forward to working with everyone over the next year to help improve ourselves and our businesses.

Shawn Gray is the Co-chair of the Empowerment Sub-Network. Shawn was raised in Butte, America and has fond memories of being a teenage hooligan!  She came to the University of Montana in 1981 and earned her bachelor degree in Social Work and her Masters of Arts degree in Guidance and Counseling.  She is the Program Director and Therapist for two of the adolescent treatment homes at Missoula Youth Homes.  Shawn is the proud mother of 14 y.o. Marcus.They can be found attending Griz games together, skiing, kayaking and hiking with their dog Buddy.Shawn is a member of Missoula Businesswomen's Network, and has been awarded the Flying High Award in the Fall of 2007.  

Ellie Sigrist is the Co-chair of the Empowerment Sub- network. Her company is Mediation Associates, LLC and as a Conflict Coach and Mediator she facilitates conflict in important relationships by bringing a neutral perspective. She joined MBN this year. She loves that the MBN women are committed to making changes for themselves.

Rachael Hill-Morawski is the Co-chair of the Women in Personal Finance Subnetwork. A financial advisor since 1998, Rachael moved to Missoula in 2003 and joined Edward Jones and MBN in 2004. She joined the MBN Board in 2007 as co-chair of the sub-network Women and Personal Finance, a role she continues into the 2008-2009 MBN year. She is proud to say she just completed the Missoula Marathon and recently got married. She hopes members will take advantage of the great topics and speakers her subnetwork has lined for this coming MBN year.
Barb Pulley is the Co-chair of the Women in Personal Finance Subnetwork.
